I had this idea over fifteen years ago. My first versions were made frame-by-frame in Adobe Premiere — each chart took 30 to 40 hours. The musicians I played with loved them, but there was no way I could make more than a handful.
I bought chordinates.com back then and kept paying for it every single year, holding onto the dream that one day I'd figure it out. I tried and failed more times than I can count.
It is honestly a surreal dream to see it live as a real app today.
